The Wild Coloured Oscar Cichlid is the natural, wild-type form of the beloved Oscar, native to the Amazon Basin and surrounding river systems in South America. Unlike the bright designer strains (like Tiger or Albino Oscars), the wild Oscar displays an earthy olive-green to brown base coloration with subtle red, orange, and golden highlights, along with its iconic black eye-spot (ocellus) on the caudal peduncle.
